Resolution Fear unbridled... Hopelessness and stagnation Inhibits every move or action. The great demotivator Clasps its icy grip On hearts and minds alike. With resolve alone Must free will retake what's lost; Mend with hope the rent fabric Of trust and with the glue of love Repair the sundered psyche And raise it from deep depression. Intellect itself Falls prey to the abyss, Feeding on self-doubt And rampant insecurity. Without faith doomed To wallow in dark despair. Resolution, Self awareness and confidence builds A new and stronger foundation Beneath that teetering frame.
