Soul Music (survivor challenge #10)
By heinzs
Soul Music (survivor challenge #10) Life presents demands... is it not enough? Yet I struggle on - painful it may be. Time eludes me still - was it not my due? Once spent, ever gone. Friendly peace my wish. Soon, my heart urges, will there be respite? Be ever on guard... answers come rarely. Ending or starting, on a newer leaf... high hopes always sing notes from eager soul. 4/8/2002notes: This is a double acrostic poem. It is composed of 4 stanzas of 5 syllables each. The first word of each line makes another stanza of 5 syllables per line. The first word of each of those lines makes a final 5-syllable line. End this with a question mark as punctuation and the acrostic is complete. See comment below. Written April 8th, 2002 © on Apr 08 2002 06:09 AM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 0 • 10
