Witch's Brew ~The Beginning~
By heinzs
Witch's Brew ~The Beginning~ The cauldron seethes. Evil-smelling fumes waft o'er. The hideous ones cackle and stir. "Eye of newt," sings one, "Tongue of dog," sings another. What horrendous stew is brewing? What disgusting brew is stewing? "Drink up, dearie." her shriveled hand shoves the chalice in my face. Foul and malodorous potion, yet I must drink it all. I hold my nose and wince - I swallow, gagging! Retching! My throat burns with fire. My stomach knots in painful spasm. Blackness clouds my eyes and my mind drifts - I faint. When I wake the sisters are gone and so is my wallet. 12-21-2001 Written December 22nd, 2001 © on Dec 21 2001 04:45 PM PST, Heinz Scheuenstuhl 0 • 14
