i was once told that''jazz is played in a circle of elevenths''-or something like that -and,''improvisation is ingenuity plus sexual frustration'',which in turn is...''ingenuity''.well,whatever the case may be,i now know the world is flat and that a circle of elevenths should be played if jazz is to be'impious ingenuity' -jazz,the discoverer of the world's circularity(supposedly).but sometimes i can swear i hear Jazz echoethe fragmented speech of lovers at play;a pianistpulling in and out of the piano's bodycausing it to speak in unintelligible tongues of loveat the touch of his elongated fingers -his body moves to a beat only he can hear, thrusted back and forth like a flame in the wind, and the world is whatever shape his dance dictates....................however,''jazz is played in a circle of elevenths'',so,there probably isn't room for any of that.
