Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

i live day to day, and i wonder for tomorrowi used to live months at a time, and wonder on the sorrowbut i have grown by quite a bit, and now i've chanced to seethat i now live my life within a once forgotten dreamthe past was built upon this dream, to try and see it throughand all the while whispering, the courage came from younow i hope you burn with pride, for as you said it seemthat i now have the chance to live within forgotten dreamsyour gentle comfort in my youth means much more to me nowi hope i can repay you, though i cannot figure howfor by my side you always were, on you at times i leanedyou held me untill i could live within forgotten dreamsso till the day you leave to whats now become my owni'll hold you on this pedestal, a queen upon her throneand i know you'll look down on me, i know you'll have the meansand smile as you watch me live out my forgotten dreamsI love you, Mother. My mother is the root that holds me to all I do. I would be lost without her. She gave me so much more than life, and it is that debt to which I owe my dreams. They are all for you, Mom.
