On Running
By Hwymike
On Running Once I ran to happiness humility, heavens light. On havens, running full of breath with life inside. Beside me was a mate that conveyed the beams. Living a life of loving dreams. Once I ran on the winds like the clouds. Then on breeze like the dust flowing. When the howling of our loving hum, turned to the drowning of lives beating drum. Pushing us apart, were us both running on eggshells. Guns of war were are arms pulling, shooting on to the jobs finish line. When running through our minds were memories of first love. Hearts on run from the things left undone, Too much caring for material things, when needing to sow our loving buttons with them innocent little kisses. That time has inadvertently made us kiss goodbye. Now apart, I find it so hard to run on with out you. Onward I run from the heart mine is beating for. Running on to loose the despair of us not being a pair. I hear them say “Move on my son” Wayward wandering, aiming to loose. When every where I run, I still breathe with you (on running)...
