Solo Dove
By Hwymike
Solo Dove Is he there? Is he just a part time thing? As I no longer feel you here in my heart. I wander if his lips shock you like mine. My soul shadows your sensual touching. My dove I long to no longer be a fallen, Feather that lies abandoned. When I was torn from your wings that, Graced my heart I felt sorrow start. I understand the crazy spin as I fell. Twas you being lifted up on high. By the pressing of his lips your wings, So spread with your heart exposed. I was to far away, lose in yesterday. Could not leave you that are so much of me. I know in my solo flight our souls will unite. In a blooming paradise among the clouds. Ending our summer, these fall winds blow As my sorrow is the wind, love is tree limbs. Desolate and empty of our twitting in the lush Budding treetops of our courting, and calling. Then mingled tears like rain drops sprinkles, To hail stones in a stormy hello in goodbye. I wish to rush you with the rush you gave me. Taste the bitter sweet of no distance. Persistent the act of pain, driven me insane. Drained of will, feeding on loves thrill. “Oh girl,” tell me is your love for him as real? Or is it you are wishing we be living out this dream? Tell me dear was it too real? But un-near to endure the distance… “SOLO DOVE”Deticated to my "Bamma Peach!" Love always and forever Michael Written February 19th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 11:30 AM PST 0 • 8
