i saw you naked in the morning

By if pascoe

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

i saw you naked in the morning through the glass of my bedroom window, and if i could put angels on paper and leave them there; i would save you in my sketchbook, brushing your hair out, accidentally nude in my on purpose view. and you… will never read this poem to realize once upon a time, i spied with my little eyes and memorized your graceful breasts and fragile lips, hungry for someone else to kiss them.
