His canvas is the sky On which He paints His Hello and good-bye At daybreak His Sun of Golden hues, says "Good morning" then His Skies turn to lapis lazuli So we can enjoy and play Among His colors of day When daylight fades The Sun recedes, He paints violet hues Turning to indigo As He says "good-night" The darkness descends Upon all He attends As our thoughts take flight God points us towards The black-hole of sleep Til again we awake to keep Our rendevous with Genesis Ilenia  © 2001 Written December 8th, 2001 © on Dec 07 2001 03:14 PM PST   0 • 10
