Suffer Not The Little Children
Suffer not the little children come unto me, This the only religious thing that she ever knew, She prayed for this each night diligently. All through the beatings, she was not to say a word, Every day these were, the only things she ever heard All she could do was to endure. She thought she dreampt, but twas really a vision, Six nights in a row, Her soul on a mission. She climbs the stairs, shes ready for redemption, She doesn't need, Anything else to mention. In front of her eyes she sees, a bridge made of rope To her it was glorious, Represented much hope. Quietly she climbs across, the pit of damnation, Reaching for the other side, With good intentions. Being welcomed by spirits, that she only knows, Expecially the one, with the sad looking crown, He stands beside her, great love he doth show. A beautiful paradise, she sees with her soul, Trees, water, and animals, the most precious place, That her heart ever saw. The purist light guiding her, pulling her along, Towards the iredecent door, How could this be wrong. We're standing at the thrown of God, Jesus and I, Hes speaking to him, Through that brilliant light. Yet God says no! its not her time to die, Shes got more things to learn, And live out her life. She awakens in her bed, spinning round n round, She cannot move for an hour, Nor make a sound. Six days this vision remained the same, Not once did it alter, Not once did it change. Things she seen are in the bible, that she never read, Yet these testimonies came to her, While she lay in her bed. This gift he sent her, now she would never again be alone, To keep in her heart, or share as she grows. Suffer not the little children come unto me, These words Jesus spoken, with love, To me.this is something that I really went through,.. when I was only 11 yrs old..and it is absolutely true.. I know its off meter.. but I needed to share this one.. thanks peg Written October 20th, 2001 © on Sep 15 2002 06:14 AM PST 18 • 0 • 13
