Are You?
You left me alone once again with the kids the holidays upon us you call on the phone and tell me you are sorry but what can you do? I am the one left to take care of it all and try and make it work when the kids won't help they try to make it worse and you tell me it will be okay. how can you know? are you even here? No... you are there where you have noone to worry about but you no bills to pay, plenty of food a roof that costs nothing you have plenty of everything especially time. time to reflect on the wrongs that should have been rights and time to know that we are still here waiting for the day that you return when the kids will be grown apart from you, and I as well. What can you do? What have you done? Nothing but hurt us all once again. And yet we repay you with our lives. Waiting patiently, for it to be over once again. I know, three years it will take. What I don't know is, are you ever worth the wait? Are you?Something written for my husband tonight..Having a hard time dealing with him being away and the things that the kids do to make the time longer! :) Written December 27th, 2001 © on Dec 27 2001 11:17 AM PST, Deborah Wolz 10 • 0 • 1
