As She Sits...a challenge poem

As she sits and listens to the melancholy sounds of Scott Weiland, with a flag tied around his waist, and no pants on underneath through his rasberry lips comes hypnotic lullabies. She feels the despair brought on by a tear as it falls from her face and slowly breaks into a thousand pieces, regretting the hidden adoration that has lead to darkened love, a naked revelation. No longer feeling the jovial laughter, but now to the point morbid anxiety, she thinks of the antagonizing kisses they once shared, now long gone and replaced by a rusting hate, knowing what could have been. Or what should have been had it not been for a midnight rave, and those beautiful androginous people with tattoos, cut in the shape of words, and the hysteria brought about as the ocean calmly engulfed the sun.
