Fairy Tales...

By introubleintx

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

flitting about on fairies wings made of the finest thread. spreading tales of fairy land where others have not tread. spinning fables of dragons lore of knights and maidens fair and of elves that would be king said fairies they do beware. they tell of city streets paved with the purest gold and youth forever known to all buried treasures yet untold. stories of the dragon that breathed an awful fire who fell victim to the knight to win his heart's desire. Said fairies also tell stories of Elves that would be kings and of the broken hearts such maidens fair did bring. To be welcomed among the fairies to hear the tales they spin is a privilege unknown to most unless said tale you do begin.I won an award for this poem on another site..Picked poem of the month for Feb against two or three other poems... :) Written January 4th, 2002 © on Jan 03 2002 04:44 PM PST, Deborah Wolz   10 • 0
