For Samantha
On a day in September eighteen years ago I gave birth to a daughter and I loved her so. With bright blue eyes and light blonde hair that she was healthy was my only care. You were into everything and try as I might I couldn't stop you without a fight. You were good in school and helped me at home when without your dad I could leave you alone. You got into boys soon I found out. Then dating was in, school a drop out. You moved from the house at just seventeen. And then you met him the man of your dreams. Now you are pregnant a baby on the way there is no more time for childish games to play. You'll see on your own and try as you might to teach your child to know wrong from right. And you'll slowly learn from this day and on that life isn't so easy once you become Mom...I am thinking of giving this to my daughter for a Christmas gift..Tell me what you think...
