For Steve..a challenge poem

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The thing in life that I love the most is a person that I hold close. He is my husband and my best friend I'll love him until life's bitter end. I came to love him a long time ago with a love that just continues to grow. He was my first my one true love sent to me from the heavens above. I fell for him when I was just a kid and love him forever is what I have bid. His smile to die for he can be so kind eyes to drown in a treasure I did find. Others have tried to take him away but his promise to me is forever and a day. And that I most treasure I'll forever be his and spend my life for moments like this.
