Your Bar Date
You go outside, jump in my car Head yourself to the nearest bar You've been drinking again all night And now you'll want to start a fight Or get in trouble with the law And then the house you'll call and call You know I hate it when you act that way But you don't care as long as I pay You said you were just going to the store I should have known, I've heard it before Just when things are going right You end up going out all night And when the bar closes at two I'm sure there will be someone new But when I ask, you'll say oh no I went to the house with so and so Or what's his name is what you'll say I go through this every other day And when the bill money is all gone You'll wonder who I spent it on Yet you wonder why I'm not crying When you say in jail you'll soon be lying If only you'd look back and see You might be sorry how you treated me And when you are the lonely one You'll apologize for the things you've done But by then it will be too late So you better keep tabs on your after bar date!
