Ageless Soul
By Isz
Years pass on Many see this young vessel But inside you must look For this soul is older then time Broken memories of times long past Things I could not know, yet do As I train my soul, I remember more The ways of the old The ways of the free minded I have flown over the great mountains Stood in forest's of tree's older than man To swim in the oceans crystal clear To depths of until distance These are some of my clouded memories So much wisdom to be found I travel my mind and explore Things that happened, that I should not know Views I claim to understand, that are so possible I am of the few Open-minded and free souled For I am older then time Look inside passed the bitter pains Back past before you where human Remember what you where When you where free Bring back those memories Remember peace And know, to even hate one Is to be hated Do onto others, as you would have them do onto you NOT Do onto others as others do onto you We are bound by human emotions Some are great But most lead to pain My greatest lesson learned If they hate you, be kind to them If they are kind to you, love them If they love you, then you are truly happy And all the surviving is justified Learn the lessons of time And be kind to all These are the words of a young child Molded by surviving the pain, yet being happy A young child, with an ageless soul Wondering free in open minds By: Isz Written January 8th, 2002 © on Jan 08 2002 04:43 AM PST 0 • 13
