Dear Father
By Isz
Dear father I will follow you soon The drink is bitter but yet warms me up Is this what is destined for the Lakeman family Can we not bear to deal with the problems of the world? Father I wish you where here. I wish I could see you Even just once more. To have the chance to talk to you To ask you for advice like I should We are left alone as always Father please come home soon Or give me the strength to follow you I am so tired of this world already And my life has only just begun Oh father I wish you could have seen me in my better days But above and beyond I wish you could see me now I know your kind words would help me I know your arms would hold your child Even for a second... I need you here I wish I were not such a spineless bitch I wish I had ran to you and brought you home Mom still loves you even if she hides it well And I miss you more and more ever day It may have been years that we have been apart But please father, show me the way I want to make you proud But still greatest of all I want you back Selfish as it might seem dad But if I had you here I would have my strength to be happy You and me again Off to a movie outside our apartment I have few memories Wish I had so many more I know you have passed on long ago But even now I cannot let you go This world is to troubled and filled with pain Oh father please come home Wipe the tears off your childs face And show him the kind heart you are well known for I drink to you In memory of the 'Wonderers' father May he rest peacefully for all time in the company of his loved ones Awaiting the day his son comes back to him Forever Here's to you dad.
