Tear to the Streets
By Isz
My travels through life lead to dead ends Once again I am forced to turn to the cold streets Just to stay close to those I hold dear Though my family is far I do hold the dear as well But I will not be a burden to them ever again So I cannot go back to there warm homes I am too stubborn to turn to my friends with my problems They’re doing to well now to have to deal with my shit To many bad choices made to fix them My problems have gone from I'm late for school And who would be attracted to me To where can I sleep safely and is there food today I must have done terrible things to find myself here I was the one with the promising future Now I am the one doomed to live in boxes At the side of the roads I used to run by And as my friends find out my problems The more they are angry at my choices It does help me at this point in time I just feel unwanted by all @-\-- A rose to guide my path As I continue my journy Alone in the dark I walk the streets By Isz Written March 3rd, 2002 © on Mar 02 2002 07:16 PM PST 0 • 13
