The Gift to Others
By Isz
Now as he walks down his darkened path, light did shine For he had learned how to shine for others But as this was a gift for others Inside he all but curled up and died In the darkness’s he had lived in for so long Was what controlled his soul and mind His body twisted by the travels Nothing lingering of the proud man he once was The loneliness is all he knows Given up on that which made him happy So he gives his greatest gift at all cost He turns away from all his problems and shines A false light it maybe But in the dark it shines for others Showing them the way to go The way to be happier then they ever where But at the cost of his own happiness To laugh a heart filled laugh Or to smile with joy These are just a few things given For the darkness has taken it's finally unbreakable hold By: Isz Written January 7th, 2002 © on Jan 06 2002 05:54 PM PST 0 • 13
