My childhood is far from safety; It shall be crushed at the gate. From dusk to dawn it is broken to pieces; Unnoticed, it perishes forever. When I think my bed will comfort me, And my house will ease my complaint, Even then I am frightened by dreams And terrified by visions. Call if you will, but who will hear?
