At Peace
By janmew
There is a wind out in the distance rustling softly through the trees it gently waves the branches and lightly tips the leaves. The grasses softly dance in time to nature’s tune and in the air the scent of rain drifts slowly past the moon. I lift my face and close my eyes to feel it’s gentle kiss then it wraps itself around me like arms I deeply miss. Out across the waters a calm begins to grow, a peaceful understanding of a Love I’ll always know. I lift my lips into a smile, and wipe away a tear, for no matter where your feet may go your heart I know is near. Written October 26th, 2001 © on Oct 26 2001 05:02 AM PST 0 • 8
