Sometimes I wish I didn’t see your face every time I close my eyes. Sometimes I wish I didn’t feel your touch with every breath I take. Sometimes I wish I didn’t hear your voice with every beat of my heart. Sometimes I wish every passing sight didn’t bring back memories. Sometimes I wish I didn’t miss you so much. But if I didn’t see your face or feel your gentle touch; If I had no memories to make me sigh and smile; and if I didn’t hear your voice I would not be complete. So every time I close my eyes and my heart skips a beat; Every time I take a breath there’s one more precious memory. Every time we have to part; I’m one breath closer to seeing you again.
