Thank You, he whispered softly and she wondered what she'd done, to hear those heartfelt words be said. If anyone were worthy; if any thanks be so deserved, 'twas his so rightly earned. Not a thing she could take credit for, that resembled all his deeds; for she'd received more than bestowed Thank You, he told her one more time, with so much love straight from the heart, and suddenly she understood. For though she had not given much; not matched his efforts with her own, he could not have asked for any more.
