The Lady Of The Sky
By janmew
She stands on the eastern shore with cheeks like the dawn of day and hair like blazing fire. Her dress glows like gossamer in shades of yellow and peach and blue, as she gracefully raises from her sleep. She is the infatuation of many men yet she lingers tantalizingly just outside their grasp. They are left simply gazing at her splendor, so brilliant, nary an eye has captured the full impact of her radiance. She moves with such alluring grace; her gown flowing behind her in the breeze, until she finally reaches her destination. And there, she lays herself down to sleep, beside the dark pools of night, until the dawn of the next new day.For those who still don't know, she is the sun Written March 15th, 2002 © on Mar 15 2002 05:59 AM PST 0 • 10
