The Storm
By janmew
Standing on this rocky shore, I see the ocean crash and roar; the waves come thund’ring from the sea, their raging voices lash at me. The fierce winds howl, the waves crash down, smashing white, against the ground. O’er fog and mist and whirling sea, there is a light that beckons me. a silent beacon in the night, comfort against the sea’s great fight. Peacefully blinking just out of reach, but gently giving contented peace. Written October 26th, 2001 © on Oct 26 2001 03:03 AM PST 0 • 1
