Dreams
By jcwatson1979
There is a little girl coming down the hall She is dressed in her mother' clothes Also has her shoes and make-up on She walks up to her mom in the kitchen and says "Look at me! I'm a model!" A little boy follows his dad to work All he can see is the shiny red truck And the big black hat Looking up at his dad, with stars in his eyes He smiles and says "I want to be just like you!" Children dream They have the right Some want to be like their parents Some like friends Everyone has the right To be what they want to be Dreams are the spice of life They make everything interesting Give a child the path and right to dream No matter what is happening If a child has no dreams What life will they have They will not have a full life So give a child the freedom to have Dreams Written July 25th, 2001 © on Jul 25 2001 02:41 PM PST, Jeanette Watson 0 • 10
