A Question of Balance

By Jdwoodmere

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Balance is basic to life. It's comparing the good with the strife. If the goodness exceeds, then you're meeting your needs. If it's strife, then you must change your life. For what happens today is just part of the play. Whether joy, whether sorrow, there's always tomorrow. So the secret of life lies in balance; And if you ask me, that's how you should live. Sure, the sorrow remains sure, our hearts feel the pains; But remember, good too's ------ cumulative. Written September 30th, 2001 © on Sep 30 2001 02:44 PM PST   0 • 12
