Dreaming of Tomorrow

By Jet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Dreaming of tomorrow You never thought it'd come so fast. But while you're dreaming life moves on And today becomes the past. Today you'd never think That things could change so much, You never think you'll say goodbye Or have friends fall out of touch. But now tomorrow's here And it's time to say goodbye. It's time to pack up all your things And give something new a try. Do you like it in tomorrow? Have all your dreams come true? Or do you still look ahead To what's in store for you? Always dreaming of tomorrow You'll never get to see today. And while you dream of better things Your life will slip away. Written June 27th, 2001 © on Oct 27 2001 01:27 PM PST   0 • 9
