Gray Day

By Jhai

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

How do you describe a sky so gray and full of gloom that you see but cannot be? (The way I feel no emotional connection) How do you spell the sound of the wind, blowing in your ears at different rates but at the same time? (The way I always talk to and answer myself) What about the big and puffy clouds being blown and pushed aimlessly around? (Like I push my emotions around when I try to deal with my loneliness) I've tried to run from my life, Every road is a dead-end. (I didn't see the signs) In this gray fog I stagger. What I see Is not what appears to be. (Or is it?) Cold, Damned, Empty, Lost, Gray K 7-21-977-21-97, Written November 29th, 2001 © on Nov 29 2001 10:46 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
