Orange?
By jilli72950
Orange? So rude and round placed gently on the table Ripped from the outside and so frighteningly exposed You poor orange, a protective shell to hide you from the world. A color and a food both humiliating and resourceful. Atop this tiny counter you lie, smiling upon the world. Safe from all you need not know, or so you think. When alas! from behind a tiny hand comes gripping at you. Who shall it be? A tiny child of two or three of course, ripping away at your outsides. And when the tiniest bit of you is exposed, she rudely rips at you with her blood (orange) thirsty grin, and teeth. While your 'blood' sprays her cheek, and yet she looks satisfied. She rips away more of your secrets, more of your life, more of you. And when she is done completely exposing you, she attacks again. ripping at your insides..treating you like an apple. You must be male because she swallows you down ripping and chewing with no stop for seed spitting. Poor, nonexistent orange. You once had the whole world to stare upon your bitter shell, and sweet juice. and now, you are nothing, no longer the envy but a victim of a pitiless world. Goodbye you unfortunate orange.
