My Heart Stands Still

By JimmyW

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The moon stands still, the trees rush by My breath is deep, my heart is sighs Looking at my thoughts, the picture is you Your beauty, your laughter, your smile too My thoughts all of you, I will not deny It's you that I want, it's with you I am high You are so far away, I find this not fair So I write these words, might feel like I'm there Toghether we'd walk with nothing but time May I take your hand, and put it with mine We'd stay up all night, watch the stars rise Our souls wide open, no boundaries, no lies Don't let me scare you, my heart it writes true So I hold it responsible, for the things I will do We talk with each other, your voice soft, so sweet The day that I met you, my heart skipped a beat My words I speak with, will never be for spite So I leave you a question, love at first sight?
