Puff leads to Puff leads to Puff

By JohnniBoy

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Managing a steering wheel in my right, and a familiar lighter in my left, I slowly pull some life into yet another cigarette, puff leads to puff leads to puff I discard the ghostly ashes out the window and feel the air play on my fingers. How I wish I could sacrifice it to the wind And not check the mirror for the shattering embers. Written March 14th, 2002 © on Mar 14 2002 06:09 AM PST   0 • 12
