You and Me

By Josh Williams

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Can't remember why we fell apart from something made by destiny Forever crying from my eyes, tears from you and tears from me Are you thinking of me when he's not around Or have you run me into the ground Do you ever find yourself smiling and laughing at my memory Do you ever find yourself thinking of you and of me Is there a me in your you anymore Or have you already closed the door Because I know I want it more than life And I hope you'll be my wife Take you home to my bed for all eternity Then there's you where there's a me When the ages have made us into stars so bright And our love draws us to it's finest night I'll know I'll want you back more than ever before Just when I'm knocking, will you answer the door Now I'm hearing so loudly the call of eternity Cause I know there's never a you where there's a me Written May 27th, 1999 © on Nov 08 2000 03:49 AM PST   0 • 8
