Home At Last
By kandypie
All of my life I have wandered alone Lost, frightened, searching in vain for Her For the woman who teased my daily thoughts And tormented my nightly dreams with her beauty But everywhere I looked I found nothing but pain Becoming a pawn in the sick and twisted games of others Broken...but not beaten, I protected my heart Making the painful but necessary choice To give up my search And then like lightning, flashing in a raging storm She sparked into my life - electrifying me with her presence Right from those first moments she had me I was lost but found, drowning but swimming in her With every breath in my body she sucked me closer And fight it though I tried - she stole my heart away I dreamt every night of feeling the beauty of her love And now I cry every day, blessed, knowing it to be true When she sparked into my world, she set my life on fire And like pieces of a puzzle, she fills me, she completes me She is my Spirit, My diamond, my baby, my love She holds the key to my heart and all locked within Forever and a day I am lost no more, for I have found my love I am home at last.
