Could this be Heaven?
By Karen6211
Could this be Heaven? I watch the clouds. I try to picture things of the essence. I float to a distant land. One that has grass field’s of gold and, Humming birds of sweet song. I think could this be Heaven. Have I drifted too far? I see someone in the distance. Oh I must go there. I travel the path of rose petal and Smell their great perfume. I feel the beauty of kindness, As I approach the great golden throne. A man with white all around him. And a gold light Halo I had seen beauty that has never been seen or told. I think this may be God! And I'm standing with him at the throne. I breathe with excitement. Could I have went home to my maker, And left you all alone. He welcomes me to heaven. I cry to him that I have left my love alone. He tell me sweet child he will never be alone, You will walk with him everyday. And one day he will drift away. HE will come home with thee. At this moment I awake. Finding my self in the same place I was. And then I realized I got a taste of heaven. But God let me come home. Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 22 2002 08:20 AM PST, K.G.
