Longing

By Kazia

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sitting here by myself, wondering will there ever come a time? Will i find the one, the one who holds the key to my heart? Wanting and waiting to feel that warmth, the warmth of comfort, security and most of all LOVE.... Close my eyes dream away, so far from now to a place where happiness is spread all around in everyone. Not like today where misery consumes so many of us. I see the man, the man of my dreams. He is honest and caring and caresses me with his words of truth. He touches my soft skin and whispers in my ear "I Love You forever". His words seep through my veins like the heroin once did. " I love you too my dear". I open my eyes, it was just a dream. That man will come one day i do believe. Until then i can wait, I've waited this long. My eyes will dream, my heart will beat for the love i am ever longing for. Written April 10th, 2002 © on Apr 10 2002 01:33 AM PST   0 • 12
