Man behind the bars
By kimberlee
The train approaches slowlybut the man stays on the tracksThe driver cant see him it's too darkThe man does not scream he felt no painThe driver stands before the courttelling his story There's rumours the man on the tracks was drunkhis wife walked out and his baby boy had died10 years is the sentence the driver gets too careless should have stopped the jury saysWhy's the wife crying she walked out on him which pushed himon the tracksThe driver is crying how could his life get so bad.he waves to his three kids as he's slowly lead awayThese kids will never really know their dadAnd only really remember him as the face behind the barsPoor man loses his family his wife has up and remarriedHe cant take it anymore he wishes he could now see a train coming.
