World on Fire

By KnightMelodies

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Trust in her, the world on fire, Steps of coal, her souls perfect. Men taint the world around, Ever giving, her blood runs To the one she truly loves. Is it me? I do not know, Flowers bloom where it lies Are not for you . . . trust in her. She is silk in the forest, That seems to burn in my heart. Pure she is, untouched by any, Ravaged by heat, she brushes skin, Her touch like wind, caresses me. Her warmth covers me with protection, Promises of faith, whispers to me, Love, hope, and trust . . . the world on fire.A story about a man who is paraniod about other men and how they surround his lover. Brings forth his trust and is not betrayed by it. Short love story. p.s. please don't mind my play on words in the first paragraph Written April 19th, 2002 © on Apr 18 2002 04:36 PM PST   0 • 8
