Sleep, my most trusted childhood friend, you have looked after me ever since my first ever breath, mentor and healer, you have raised me with such love and care, I’ve come to learn that you are subtlety preparing me, dose by little dose, for that certain ultimate moment, that with such cunning and skill I have been avoiding so far, the time I must meet with your brother, Death. If only you were the one who made the introductions it makes the moment sound almost sublime. Ôåëåõôáßá ÷Üñç ¾ðíå, åìðéóôåõôéêÝ ìïõ ðáéäéêÝ ìïõ ößëå ì’ Ý÷åéò ðñïóÝîåé áðü ôüôå ðïõ ðÞñá ôç ðñþôç ìïõ áíáðíïÞ, óïöÝ ìïõ óýìâïõëå êáé èåñáðåõôÞ ðïõ ìå ìåãÜëùóåò ìå ôüóç áãÜðç êáé öñïíôßäá, ìå ðüóç ëåðôüôçôá ìå ðñïåôïéìÜæåéò, äüóç ôç ìéêñÞ äüóç, ãéá êåßíç ôç óßãïõñç áðþôáôç óôéãìÞ ðïõ ìå ôüóç ðïëõìç÷áíåßá êáé ìáóôïñéÜ Ý÷ù áðïöýãåé ìÝ÷ñé ôþñá, ôçí þñá ðïõ ðñÝðåé íá óõíáíôÞóù ôïí áäåëöü óïõ, ÈÜíáôï.
