From our birth into life We're trapped by the rules Rules we can't escape We try but we can't We find that it's fate From our birth into life We're stars in the show The world is our set There's no escaping the hands of the Marionette The strings controll us No matter how much we fight They'll never let go Just growing ever more tight Like a feather drifting in the air Sailing and swaying without any care It goes with the flow With the wind where ever it blows Sometimes you'll see me with my head down In the pouring rain Trying to find answers to questions Nobody can seem to explain Sometimes you'll catch me with my head to the sky Crying and yelling "God Why!" From our birth into life We're trapped by the rules Rules we can't escape We try but we can't We find that it's fate, to live on the set In the hands of the Marionette.i did not know what all the genres meant..so i put contemp/mainstream...its not a song or anything..just a poem....
