Horrid screams heard that night deafening the soul, Tears run endlessly as the story was told. The headlines read it load and clear, Deep inside you hold them near. Memories silence her, a broken heart, The life longs scars rip her apart. A promise broken, a single tear shed, She lay lifeless, recalling what was said. Fading away she wants to be free, Falling, her tears, it pains you to see. You watch from a distance, there's nothing you can do, You want to hold her but she looks painly at you. That look you notice, in her eyes you see, She's planning something , she wants to be free. You watch her slowly walk away, You wanted to say something, but nothing to say. Deep inside you have fallen apart, Sadness has broken your heart. She cries, she longs for you, it is clear, You only wish you could hold her near.
