i once awoke to find myself still dreaming. Unaware of my own consciousness. And i wondered to myself, Am i awake? i Strained my eyes to see if you were still there. I awoke not knowing i was still asleep. And i found you there And we danced And we laughed And we cried, wept. Wept in sheer happiness Thinking that this would never end, Thinking never would you be taken away. I was dreaming not knowing that i was still in slumber. I remember thinking that i was awake, not knowing that i was still fast asleep. I remember i awoke... and found you missing, I realized i wasn't dreaming and you were gone. I cried and the tears fell, I wished for your hands to wipe them away. I waited and i waited, But the tears never ceased And i realized that i was no longer dreaming.
