By kybluejeans
Change the Rubber Sittin at the station bidin my time Tryin to keep an eye on that baby of mine I told him those tires we'd have to change We're going down the highway doing a hundred and three He just looked at me and said it's all the same He yells out if I keep doing this they'll be looking for me I know the tires we're on just ani't no good We wouldn't be in this spot if we'd sone what we should Flying down the highway as fast as hell My baby looked at me and ain't going back to jail We better take the time to stop int his station We better take the time to change Now it was dark and gettign late My belly was growling I hadn't ate The guy at the station was almost done My baby looked at me then pulled out a gun Ya know they didn't fight us or try to resist Five hundred dollars richer glinched in our fist We got out of there as fast as we could Again we were doing what we shouldn't of The law would get us if they knew what we'd done I knew it was time to fet ride of the gun I tossed in a ditch and that's all to say Changed your rubber if you need to Before you end up this way Written December 25th, 1993 © on Feb 03 2002 08:39 AM PST 0 • 14
