Waiting People at the front door Someone's on the phone Nether one is you So I'd rather be alone My friends keep asking What's going on with me They say I ain't the same As I use to be Once I loved to party I still love to dance I use to go out looking for a little Romance is something I found at every bar Sittin on stools, playin pool Out back in a car That life is fun I've had my share of flirting Hearing those lines And taking any dare Now I find myself at home Sleeping with no one else It's hard to believe I'd rather be alone Jody's at every coner He wants to take me home That's okay Jody Tonight I sleep alone I'm waiting on my baby Soon he's coming home Written June 1st, 1982 © on Feb 03 2002 05:47 AM PST   0 • 8
