A Tree of Seed

By Ladybug

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The tree is tall as the trunk is round Like limbs of our soul they hold their arms out thick bathing in the warmth of the sun The trunk of the tree is solid full of strength Buried below the ground, oh so low' they are the roots of our life We are all a tree full of seed budding a new life in history We carry with us the wind and the rain To hear the wind blow in another storm A dove of flight taking us in faith To withstand the wind of time allowing our branches to bend for growth Let our branches bear fruit tall and strong Our roots are in the family From where we all grow Let us too, all be a good seed... a dedication to Dr.Linda Kraeger Written October 29th, 2001 © on Jan 19 2003 05:21 AM PST, Tamara White Pepper    love
