Torn and burned   with no disguise You hold it close   trying to hide Flames burn high   without dyeing down Thoughts in your brain   create a cloud A solemn mist   flows by your face And places a frown   as soft as lace The light of darkness   is never ending Your heart and soul   has stopped defending The warmth from your heart   turned away from cold But nothing is there   to turn to and hold...
