I loved you, you know it's true You confuse me, leave me feeling dazed Every time I see you, Unshed tears make my eyes glazed I used to talk to you every day Then you vanished And I missed you in the most horrible way Now you no longer love me Although I was hoping so much we'd one day be As days turned to nights And night to day I figured you must not have loved me, no way For why would someone like you love me? The reason for you loving me I just couldn't see I figured you must have just lied When I thought of this, I felt as though my soul had died So I gave up hope, I thought it was just as well And grabbed the next guy I could get To get my self out of this love-based hell Yet night after night For peace with myself I continued to fight.
