My Prayer (Smile!)

This is going to be my prayer To whom it may concern I don’t know if anyone is even there But it’s okay Kath, live and learn I know you are sad You always seem to be Don’t feel bad There are so many things I know you don’t remember to see Boys may have hurt you, yes that’s true But what’s the point in always feeling blue? Stay happy, smile! You may just feel better for a while Don’t think about the bad things Think about the good Think about the happiness, not the sadness that Alex brings Remember his smile? His warm embrace? His cute little laugh, and adorable face? Don’t be sad, be happy Remember the good times you had together Don’t get all depressed and sappy Think how happy he is with her Remember when you saw him, how it made your whole being shine? Remember how when he was around, you had no reason to whine? Remember his cute little stomach, his developing six-pack? Remember how he told you he loved your rack? Now you smile, be happy, forget all that sad shit Don’t mind it a bit You have so much to live for Don’t be a depressing bore Jarrod is cute, Kyle is even better You’re a teenager! You and a guy don’t always have to be together! You’re going to work out soon, get nice and thin Think about that and grin Soon, all those guys who never wanted you before Will see you walk by, and want to look some more So smile!!! Just smile That’s all that I want for you You have so much to be happy about So don’t be so blue!This is the prayer i wrote to myself...i keep it in my purse, and happen upon it every once in a while.
