The Awakening Heart

THE AWAKENING HEART Awakening~ Is not a matter of weeks, Or years, Or lifetimes. It is a loving and patient unfolding. A journey INTO love. We only have to let go Of what blocks our hearts To see the love and light That shines within Each and every one of us. Oftentimes..... We allow our fears and frustrations Rule our lives And we miss out on all the love and compassion That is being offered to us by others. The most difficult task Any of us can endure Is to believe in ourselves. To quiet our spirit and listen. Listen to the answers that lie within Our hearts and souls. We have all come upon a moment in our lives When~ In deep pain and suffering We question our faith. We pick at the scabs and scars In our hearts Searching for answers. Answers, we fear We may never find. BUT..... If we truly listen We will know That fear is a place That has not yet discovered love. FEAR SEES LIMITS WHILE LOVE SEES POSSIBILITIES. Sometimes.... We allow our fears to paralyze us We clutch our past So tightly to our chest That it leaves our arms Too full to embrace the present. We all have lessons  to learn In our lives But~ We  only have one purpose--- LOVE. Without love in our hearts, Not just for others, But for ourselves as well, We are lost. Love is the seed That gave birth to my spiritual awakening. It is the only truth I have. It is the most precious gift I have to offer And I offer it to you UNCONDITIONALLY All I ask in return, Is for you to open your hearts to receive it.
